The Problem
Vice Media is interested in offering a curated Vice perspective on travel. However, travel is already a highly saturated market. In order to gain insight into the possibilities of tackling travel, Vice came to us to strategize the possibilities of building out new products and experiences within travel.
1. Millennials
2. Spontaneous Travelers
3. Invested in Experiences
Challenge
How might we design a mobile travel app for:1. Millennials
2. Spontaneous Travelers
3. Invested in Experiences
User Interviews
To understand my users I went to cafes and interviewed millennials:1. How they plan for traveling
2. Has their planning reached their expectations
3. What resources do they use and/or wish to have during their travels
What I learned
1. The user journey of a spontaneous millenial booking a ticket to travel on the weekend2. Motivations, Goals, and Needs of a spontaneous traveler
3. Why a spontaneous traveler would use a publication travel app and continue to come back
